Shoutbox for friends only

Sounds interesting, it could be a quick chat feature for your profile pages.  We should outline how it should work.

So...i'm sharing just an idea here, yrs ago i suggested over in boonex to have the shoutbox configured to where only friends can see post or shout that a user would make in that block. ProfessorSr and Deano came in and made some suggestings and ideas.
