We got the same problem. And we would like to solve that. In the error log we can see the following: Compilation failed: support for \\P, \\p, and \\X has not been compiled at offset 1 Maybe it's bacuse a server problem. The full error message is the following:

[Thu Feb 11 16:54:26 2010] [error] [client 212.52.160.147] PHP Warning:  preg_replace() [<a href='function.preg-replace'>function.preg-replace</a>]: Compilation failed: support for \\P, \\p, and \\X has not been compiled at offset 1 in /home/admin/workline.hu/boonex/plugins/phpids/IDS/Monitor.php on line 446, referer: http://boonex.workline.hu/m/videos/albums/my/add_objects/cuccli/owner/workline

Hi guys/girls

I have had this problem and I think I have only JUST fixed it. If I upload an flv video, it wont play and shows the Error! File not found message. It appears to confuse the system I think. If I upload a .MOV or any other file, it uploads and converts fine and importanly, plays!

Firstly check that your FFMPEG permissions are set to 777 and the cron jobs are correct. There is a thread stuck on the top of the forum for that

Ha! Welcome to the club. I am very new to dolphin as well, and learning all the time.

You need an FTP program like in Dreamweaver or Cuteftp(which is free). You then right click on the FFMPEG and set its
permissions to 777 - in other words putting ticks in ALL the boxes

That's okay... but the problem is the same.

Have you looked at the type of videos you are uploading? Try uploading a .MOV (quicktime) and see if it works. I converted a flash video to .MOV and it worked. Give it 10 mins or so for it to convert as well.

I would also check to make sure that your host supports dolphin 7

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
