I am running D6 and D7. In D6 I never had any issue with the USERS STATS block or the USER LIST in Chat. I am currently pulling my hair out trying to find out why in D7 that these functions are failing. In CHAT I consistently have Ghost Users left in the room - that is where the user logs out and the chat never clears the name or cams of that user. I have searched the Forums for a solution, and nothing so far has helped. Currently I have permanently shut off all cache functions, and am troubleshooting it not only at the service provider, but also on my Private Servers. If anyone has any ideas or can point me at a previous forum post that may help it would be appreciated.
The second issue may or may not be related to the CHAT issue. In D6 the user stats always showed the correct number of logins. in D7, I can have dozens of users logged in and the user stats may show ANY number... The Search People block shows a whole different number of users logged in.. It is simply chaos. I have gone through the code, I have checked all cache functions for issues (finally disabled cache), I have moved RMS to other servers to fix the Ghost Users in chat. So far no luck.
