How to Embed recorded video in new block

I have put a new block on homepage." About living distracted" and would like to have video I record embed there/show up there. What is the easiest way to do this? Also I have not added a language string in the language section. Do I need to do this? I changed the title on new block and it worked.

You need to add a HTML block and paste into it the embed code from the video page.

I tried that but it didn't work. There was no video there, just the new block.
