Why is there an L in from of everything in the forums on my site?

[L[Forums]]

[L[Sticky]]

[L[Topic text]]

[L[Submit]]

[L[Cancel]]

WWWHHHYYYY][]]]]

recompile the forum lang from manage forum page

 I'm sorry... I can't find the manage forum page.  Where is it?

login as admin and then go to..... yoursite/forum/?action=goto&manage_forum=1

That worked. Thanks.  What caused that to begin with?

Older versions of dolphin always required the forums be compiled after install.

The latest versions. 7.0.9 and maybe 7.0.8 did it automatically during install.

If you have the latest version of dolphin installed fresh and this happened and based on your other post about the tellfriend problem. I would have to say your install did not properly complete and there is a problem with it. If you go to admin then to modules then to orca forum while logged on as admin there should be a manage forum button in the lower sub menu. If it's not there then that to is an indication of a bad install.
