 I removed the "Looking for" block from the profile edit page, but it still appears as a field to be filled in when editing. The same issue with height, weight, etc. I am interested in building a community that is not oriented as a dating site, but that it seems like the profile edit page is still enforcing this even though I've removed blocks which imply that kind of site. |
Maybe I can answer my own question. Is this only the case when I'm logged in as an admin? Maybe I got confused for a moment... |
When setting up your edit page for profiles there are two views: Owner (user) and Admin (you). Owner view is default and if you only remove the block in that view then you, as Admin, will still see the option since you didn't take the block off for Admin view. |
