Hai,

I have enabled php setiing xsl but the same error showing when i m install orca forum module.

anyone please help me...I want to fix the issue asap.

Orca requres PHP XSLT extension. Please enable it first then proceed with installation.

For PHP4, make sure that PHP is compiled with the following extensions:

                    --with-dom --enable-xslt --with-xslt-sablot

If these PHP extensions are enabled, then you can see domxml and xslt extensions in phpinfo() with the following options:

                    DOM/XML: enabled
                    XSLT support: enabled

For PHP5, make sure that PHP is compiled with the following extension:

                    --with-xsl

If this PHP extension is enabled, then you can see xslt extensions in phpinfo() with the following option:

                    XSLT support: enabled

buddypress being FREE and not boonex free but FREE free

as is all its modules

buddypress also works with the wordpress forums plugins

has more beautiful templates and over all just works faster looks better and is much simpler to use and alter

Has PHP actually been compiled with XSLT support? When you view your site's phpinfo (Administration -> Tools -> Host Tools -> Phpinfo), does it show as enabled?

Can you confirm that XSL is listed under there?

XSL is not listed. You need to recompile PHP with XSLT support, as stated in the error message. If you're on shared, your hosting provider will have to do this.

I still get a laugh every time someone asks about it though. Wonder how many people have contacted their host's tech support and ask them to install the Be boot manager because someone on Boonex recommended it, lol.
