 Hi, At a members blog you'll find a "watch this" button in the actions block, what exactly does this do? Are you spposed to be notified per email if the blog is updated or where exactly can you see your "Watch List"? If an email is supposed to be sent to you then it doesn't seem to work for me. I have clicked the button with users both signed up for the "mass email" and without it and i neither get anything in the internal mail box nor my external one. Maybe I'm missing something obvious here? |
I don't see a "Watch this" button... I do see a "Subscribe" button, however. So I bet that your Subscribe button has been renamed to Watch this at some point. You can probably find out for sure by entering "Watch this" into the admin>settings>language settings>manage keys search box and see what comes up. If you don't like "Watch this" then you can rename it to whatever you want.
The Subscribe button notifies the member when there is an update on the blog, you can see what emails are being sent out (or supposed to be sent out) by looking in your admin>settings>email templates and looking for blog subscriber emails. Although the email templates are named VERY VERY awkwardly, so get ready for some decoding! |
