Zip Code field not to be mandatory

I recently installed D7 and it is working fine. The only problem I have is that the Zip code section of the Join Form is mandatory and other countries do not have the zip code system hence users cannot join from those countries. How to I made that not a mandatory field

Admin -> Builders -> Fields builder.

In the join form click on zip.

Go to the advanced section.

uncheck manditory and set the min and max value field to 0

I'm pretty sure all countries use some form of code. US call is Zip codes, a lot of other countries call them 'postal codes' and they might contaion letters as well as numbers. I would recommend a little research on Wiki about it. The zip (postal) codes will be required to make your world map function properly.

Just want to share that if you unchecked and make it non-mandatory field and left the max and min values there, it will not show the red asterisk but it will still require the user to put something int he field bc of the max and min values. When you removed both the non-mandatory field check and the max and min values form the fields and set both of them 0, when a user who has a real zip code, it will through them the error.

I did see the response and that was why I went to remove the max and min values on mine. Then I realized that when a member who has a zip code on their profile would not be able to save his profile if he edited his profile. He would get an error message saying like you need to enter more than 0 or something like that. I just want to share that. Lolz.
