Ok, enough is enough. I am dealing with another round of these F__^&*ing emails again. They are costing me members! I get complaints all day long that I'm sending spam and I'm losing members AT AN ALARMING RATE!

I know I'm not the only one with this problem and I really need it to be resolved. Nathan, do you work for Boonex? If so, PLEASE pass this onto whomever is in charge of solving these issues (if such a person actually exists)

You CANNOT build a site if the email system is sending shiiot to everyone every f^*(cking day!

I have exhausted every possible scenario and nothing seems to make sense. i can't find the trigger. All I can tell anyone is it seems to be loosely related to new members joining.

Have you looked at your maillog file? More information would help.

SKY as you know there is no quicker way to run them off and this should be A TOP Mission to find and solve this issue....................

 The /var/log/maillog would be helpfull. A sample of the emails that are going out? Are you using ibdw modules with notifications? Need some more info. I have not had this problem with 7.0.6 , and I thought I had all the problems one could have.

This is an ongoing problem with many posts related to it. Do a search to read on what's been done so far.

Is your problem recreateable or just random admin welcome message to a random user once a new user joins? What I have found on this forum to get help you need to clearly define your problem. I read you other topic but it appears you two were having different issues.

Just a suggestion but I would make a new topic and define your problem in the most detail possible.

Yeah. my site has been re creating it Ad infinitum for going on 2 years. Like I posted earlier, if you want to see the contents of what has been tried, all you need to do is type UTF 8 in the search box and hit enter.

This message is pointed more towards the big shots here at Boonex than anyone else. It is a Dolphin script problem. tickets have been submitted, users have complained and Boonex really doesn't seem to give a shIIt

Now I am talking the approach that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If you don't want to be part of this topic, then don't post. Do not keep popping in here asking for details because I won't give them to you. The people that know what I am speaking of already have everything they need to research the problem. If you want to be involved, then read all the previous posts, put on your thinking cap and help us solve it. If you do, you'd be the hero of the day....

PS, I do know how this place operates, compare my post count to yours...

 I run several sites and have pseudo profiles, the basic sites only send mail i.e. friend request and the normal mail.

I've also got couple sites with 3rd party modules that send daily mail, and have joined other Dolphin sites with lots of modules that send mail DAILY sometimes two to three of them, very annoying if you don't understand why your getting them.

So the question still lies with what module(s) are sending the mail.

I'll do a search of your postings and back read; I do remember some of them being posted on the latest posts feed here.

This has to be coming from a module somewhere. Possibly one that you have installed then removed, didnt get removed completely, or something. If this was the Dolphin script sending out mass emails constantly, then everyone would be having this problem. I am not having this issue on any of my Dolphin sites, so I would suggest trying to narrow down the 3rd party modules that you have installed that send emails and/or alerts of some kind.

 EDIT: I See pretty much everyone else is pointing to a module too.. Should have read better

Where is Boonex people?

Well, there is a chance it has been resolved. We're testing now. Once again, I went to outside help. I am not alone in this. There are others that have the same problem. That's the only reason I am making such a stink.

It is possible it's the result of a mod. I have researched that over and over again. If it is a mod, I haven't found it yet.

I will post back the results if it is fixed and how it was resolved. Don't want to get everyone's hopes up.

Nope. Not resolved. My members got a salvo of blank emails last night.

 Make sure that all email templates are in the database, if some template is missing - the system will send empty emails.

Solution is also posted there, however it maybe that your site is missing some another template and then you need to restore another one.
