"this site is currently unavailable" when using GAME ZONE template

tried installing a TMD HOSTING  Game Zone template on 7.09 .

http://www.boonex.com/m/free-dolphin-template-by-tmdhosting-id28-gamer

but i  received the "this site is currently unavailable"  page when i tried clicking on anything on the help tab... HELP, FAQ ADVICE CONTACT etc...

any idea why this happens?

Does that template remove the Boonex footers? If so that's the problem... I wouldn't suggest using any of those templates.

thank you for replying

im not sure if it does.... i have a paid license for dolphin and that footer has been removed. perhaps thats the conflict..i should create a test site with out the boonex footer removed to see if that is it.

its a shame too because this is really a beautiful looking template... all black.. stationary background image...ive been unable to find something else comparable...even paid.

if its something that can be easily fixed i wouldnt mind using their template... regardless of what their hosting capabilities may or may not be. the tmd hosting link at the bottom of the page doesnt really bother me... its not a competitor to my product.. and i surely do want to give credit to those who created the template.

would be nice if they could respond :)

If the template has a _sub_footer.html open it and put this in:

 __boonex_footers__

then clear the cache in admin and reload the site.. see if that fixes it. With your paid license in place the footers still shouldn't show up but it might fix the problem.

it does have a _sub_footer.html file...

but it already had that in ......

so i cleared my cache just to see if that would do anything... now my entire site comes up with " this site is currently unavailable"  :(

The file is corrupted, isnt it?

there is a hacker script that i found in the template directory for the GameZone template. I was installing it myself, with a NEW site. Upon looking at the default.html page i found the file had been corrupted.

I can confirm some suspicious files in their templates.  Going to check some more, then do something.

my site stopped working without the TMD template installed... so i dont know .. i submitted a ticket... but no one has responded yet... and a quick google search will show this is extremely common with people running dolphin.

Looks like some of their templates might have hacked files.  Don't know all the details, but let them know.  I also hid the known offenders from the market (doesn't make a difference, but...).

Doubt it.  Just remove the template for now.  And don't worry about forum reports, those are never looked at.

I notified them about the templates, if that's what you're referring to.  I've only seen this problem happen because the BoonEx footer call was taken out of the template.  Other than that, clearing the site's cache directories.

Did you go back in Admin and change the template back to the UNI template?

Admin -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Template

Then clear the cache.
