1 minute message wait has got stuck.

I've set  another profile up for myself and given myself admin rights but since I changed servers I no longer can send messages all I get is the usual  - You have to wait 1 minute before you send next etc

Now I've checked with other members and their OK I've set my profile to normal membership level and it still refuses to send a message.

My only solution is to delete profile and recreate but the problem is I have various groups attached to it so would mean upheavals

Anyone come across this problem before if so please advice.

Sounds like there may be a damaged message entry in the database. You will need to manually check in the database in the table sys_messages for messages sent from your profile ID (Sender field) for a date that is either empty or in the future (Date field)

This may be an indication that there is a problem with the system clock on either the server you moved from or the server you moved to. Have the host check the clock on the server and make sure it is accurate.

Done it - we have the message monitor mod installed and I've just found the last message that I sent and have deleted it of the server now it seems fine.

Perhaps its some how got corrupted?
