100% beginner question:)

maybe stupid question, but I installed dolphin 7 and I don't see anywhere forum in my menu (http://i46.tinypic.com/25g70cz.jpg), even I think I saw somwhere forum orca is listed in admin. this is what I have in my menu: account, people, tags, categories, search, help, about.

so where is: forum, photos, video, polls, etc?

is it installed by default?

I am wondering the same thing - I can't find photos or pictures, or anywhere to upload them anywhere - no tabs on main pages or in profile view when logged in as a regular user. Weird - not a problem with Version 6... nothing in documentation that I have found or in forums either.

I think they answer only to those who paid money. if they do so, they should write it, so we don't choose their script. every social networking script is full of mistakes which are created by developers, not by users, so, if developers offer something for free, they should say if they don't give support. I see crowd of questions in forum which are not answered, so I concluded that premium users get support but not people who didn't pay.

All here are volunteers, and it can be some time someone is respond. if they have pay or not.

Have you installed the modules aftyer you installed Dolphin?

This can be done from administration / tools / modules.

Some modules are connected to others, so if there is a error , look at the red Sign what is needed to get that module to work.

I saw many unanswered questions, therefore I said so, I am new, so that's my impression.

for me it looks strange, or maybe we, beginners, don't find what is where, but I think before I didn't see this what is described here:

http://www.dialme.com/m/articles/view/Fix-Forum-Brackets-In-Dolphin-7-Orca-Forum

we should go in AdminSection-Tools-Modules, there is listed: installed modules, and below it: Not Installed modules. now I just checked there what I want to install from modules, and I got it installed so it is visible on my main website page. there were some red warning why installation of some modules failed, but it was because of permissions of files which I changed and then next try of installation was successful. only Orca Forum failed because of XSLT extension for php, so I sent email question to admin of server to install this possibility. I don't know how to install it, even I have apache handler in my CPanel, and I have php extensions installer, but "Installing "XML_XSLT_Wrapper" PHP Extension" did not help. I did not find anything else than this wrapper. so, I decided to wait answer from admin of server.... all the rest what I wanted from modules is now available to potential users of my future community. dolphin 7 has excellent design and if it function good, I will be very satisfied. most social networking scripts are full of bugs, so admins of communities must spend a lot of time in trying to find solutions. but it is so.
