2 Dolphin essential needs for "mod" coders:

1. A stable, working Google Analytics mod.  Adding the GA code as a banner is a bandain, and editing the templates for most is a pain in the butt.  Someone come up with a solution for this, it'll sell for sure.

2. An upgrade helper that will identify and upgrade ONLY the NEWEST changes when they are released.  If I do another "update" and have to go in and redo all of my code changes again, I may slit my wrists...

Anyone who figures these things out, hit me up, I will buy your mod.

Bill

edit - A 3rd one, a mod that allows an admin to choose what video types/formats a user can select when adding videos.  For example if I only want to allow my members to "embed" a YouTube video, I can toggle on and off the other 3 video options.

You're #1 suggestion boggles my mind... how hard is it to cut and paste those 3 or 4 lines of code into your footer file? Anyone who needs a mod for that is probably going to really panic when they run into real problems.

That's not the point I was getting at.  Manually inserting the code isn't rocket science, and those of us with coding knowledge have no problem with that.  The issue is as I was approaching it was more geared toward a more stable and common sense approach to using GA within the Dolphin admin.  Specifically, I know in my case, something keeps screwing up Google's script from correctly reporting my stats. One day it works, and reports fine, the next Google can't see the script.  Another issue I have is my dolphin banner stats are way, way, way off of what Google reports.  A mod that addresses the ease of code insertion, and actually works, would be nice to have.

If I wasn't on strike I'd tell ya that it's not screwin' up.  Instead myelf or someone else would tell 'em to go read the google forums and ya might find an answer there.  But I'm not tellin' ya that part 'cause I'm on the picket line.  Sorry, maybe I'll help out with the answer when the strike's over.

I like the strike idea... Maybe then members that "donate" there time for others,  will get some some organization and answers! Good luck on the strike...  (hope it's over when I need some help. LOL)
