404 Mod-Rewrite problem

Hi all,

I am having a problem with friednly url's.

I have mod_rewrite enabled and verified that it is working and I made certain that the .htaccess file had all of the settings that it should have as it does by default with 6.1

However I still get the 404 error.

I had to disable the friendly links.

Can someone help please.

If you sure mod_rewrite is enabled and you have the correct rewrite rules .htaccess you might try adding to your .htaccess:

RewriteBase /Community1/

or

RewriteBase /

Otherwise try a search in the forums for 404 there are quite a few posts regarding this.
