404 on main menu links

I have 2 test sites running, one at theholyhuddle.com and the other at skidpics.com/community.

The holy Huddle works fine, but the main links on the skidpics site such as video(all) and music(all) http://skidpics.com/community/music/all/10/1   go to a 404page of mine..    What is causing that, and why doesn't it do it on the other site?  I checked the admin settings, and both are the same..

those words mean anything to you? this question has been asked more than a thousand times. for whatever reason some servers and/or some ftp clients dont allow the overwriting of the htaccess, and then again, there is the idea that while uploading you may have opted not to overwrite the htaccess file. at any rate check the size of the htaccess file and if they are not the same get back to us.

well if they are the same then surely get back to us, but i am right @ 110% sure on this one.

i would venture a guess thats h it may have to do with your .htaccess file

It was changed. I reupped the original version from the install and it works.  thanks for the pointers..
