503 error when I click on Forums..none working

Hi everyone,

After checking the forum, I get this error '503 Service Unavailable'. When I am loged in either as admin or member, I click on all these links 'forums, flagged topics, my topics, forums search' basically everything to do with the forum and I get a page with that error. I went to admin-modules and clicked on -Orca Forum and again the same error.

Basically I do not get to see the forum options anywhere, all I get is that error with a 'the server is temporarely busy, try again later' underneath it. What do I need to do. I have seen that the mod is installed but I do not know how to get it to show. I need your help. Please can someone shed some light on this matter.

P.s. I spoke to my hosting providers and they told me to ask the vendors how much CPU and RAM does it use, as it could take too long to load maybe that is where the problem is.

Will await answers

Thank you all in advance :)

Hmmm, that sounds to me like your host is trying to hide the fact that they have over sold the shared server your site is on.

How long has it been like this?

And how are the rest of your pages loading? If they are at least loading at a someone reasonable speed but the forums are throwing a error, then your hosts explanation is highly illogical and improbable.

Who is your hosting company?

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

Hi,

I am sorry for late reply, just read your replies, thank you.

I am hosting with downtownhost.com. They have pretty good reviews and are helpful but the forum is the only thing that is not working.

Thank you

So you think it has something to do with hosting or anything to do when I installed D7?

Please let me know as I have to fix this problem.

Thank you all in advance
