6.1.6 Not Working in IE

I upgraded a site from 6.1.4 to 6.1.6 and all seemed to go well.  That is until I tried to work in Internet Explorer.

In IE6 when I go to the Page Builder and select a page to edit I can't see any blocks within the column to edit, it's completely empty.

If I try to edit it in IE7 I can see the blocks and even bring up the editor.  However it doesn't save any changes I make.  It looks like it's working, no errors popup and it redisplays the screen fine, but when I go back in the changes are not there, it's back to the way it was orginally.

If I do this with Firefox everything works fine.  This is a very serious problem as I can't tell my client "Your just gonna have to use FF!"

Does anyone else have this problem.  Is there something I might have done wrong?

There has been issues in the past and aybe still the same with internet explorer 6 abd i believe 7 as well to the best of my knowledge this is a problem with microsoft and not with the script

i think for admin reasons it maybe better to log into the control panel using Firefox ir another mizzilla browser or try chrome etc

I believe you are correct.  I just tried on a site that is still using 6.1.4 and I have the same problem.  I guess I never noticed because I mostly work in FF and use IE6 & 7 only to verify the layouts work properly in all browsers.  I guess my client uses FF as well as they have never complained, I just happened to try this in IE for some reason and discovered the problem.

Not sure why this would be a Microsoft issue however but I'm not that familiar with the inner workings of Dolphin so I can't say either way.

Still not good though.

Thanks for the heads up though!

Since IE6 managed to mess up the internet and IE7 has struggled to catch up with FF, it's no wonder that Microsoft is having to bribe people with a donation to charity to get them to swicth to IE8. However, you can download to make them donate, but you do not have to use it. The site is  http://browserforthebetter.com/
