 Have set up sites, complete with the numbers needed as per instructions, however adding a site still no image. what am I doing wrong? in tools, modules, I tried to delete quotes, which I have uninstalled, however it does not delete. (No error messages) Any ideas?

You are required to get your own "Access Key" and "Secret Key" for your domain in version 7.0.6. Go to Admin Panel>Modules>Sites and click the settings tab and follow the instructions there.
As for the quotes, try clearing your cache not that the quotes module has been uninstalled. Nothing to see here |
i do get a picture, but only if the thumbnail is available in shrinktheweb's database if the thumbnail is NOT available, and it has to be created by STW (shrink the web) than you are facing a problem. This problem is persistent, and the thumbnails are not updated ... This problem is annoying, and can be in my opinion very easily solved. ---- perhaps one of the coders would be as kind to write a little bit of code that will do the following; if someone is browsing (viewing) the sites page on your website 1) check if the thumbnail is loaded 2) if not loaded, initiate a refresh, to fetch the thumbnail
