7.2 Profile page menu items editing?

Hello,

The menu on my profile pages requires scrolling because there are too many menu items. I know where to change this for the main site top menu, but I can't find where I can change the menu on the profile view page. Maybe I'm missing it somewhere?

Thanks!

I don't think there is a way to have a "more" for that menu; if so, then it should be included in the template settings.

You didn't mention what template you were using.

Thanks geek_girl and houstonlively. I'm using the Evo template. I've attached an image. Some of the menu items such as "Files" I don't even need there as they aren't used. I suppose that I can make the page display wider. It just seems to be what it is because I see it works the same way on the Boonex demo site for example - http://www.boonex.club/triplexita

It's designed to that way for better behavior on mobile devices without a mouse.  The hover pseudo class just doesn't work well on those devices.  Personally I think the scrolling menu can be deleted, since the sub menu drop down is right above it.  If you want to keep it, you can easily change it so that the menu items wrap around instead of scrolling.

If "Files" isn't being used, why have it there? It sounds like you've installed all the modules even if you don't want to use them. Simply go through the list of installed modules and uninstall the ones you don't need. That will also remove the items from the menu.

Hello,

If you don't know yet, the menu items on the Profile cover and the drop down menu are the same, although there are two (2) areas for editing, one for each. Yet one does nothing and the second edits both menus. Found in the navigation menu editor.

You can just make the mods you don't want not visible or uninstall them, the profile menu is just a redundancy of the drop down menu. Serves no real purpose without the ability to edit it.

Just a thought.

I am also interested. How can I remove a link of a profile menu without removing the module ?

Thanks.

Change, delete the items in this menu, you can:
/administration/nav_menu_compose.php
Change, delete the desired items in the block My Profile.
