766363 mails in the queue in 1/2 a day

I emptied out my queue just 1/2 a day ago and now I already have almost a million emails.

I empty it out about 20 times a day.  I am not sending any of these messages myself, and I have eliminated matchmaking emails.

Where are all these emails coming from?

If I empty it out now, I will have at least 5,000 emails in just a few minutes.  This is crazy.

ps.  Just in case you were wondering, my join is still not working... but that's okay, having members is highly overrated

I rememeber my first warning from shared hosting and I'm like... *in my head* fack you, I'm innocent... blame Boonex!

Yup, I freakin' hate the cron jobs, especially the condition we have now. Mostly I get in these days are "Killed" messages over and over and over and over. What's the point? I don't want that. Boonex, eliminate the damn "Killed" messages... there is no reason to bulk up.

Let me guess. Most of em are "mail delivery failed as it is spam" type messages. Kind of a reverse DOS attack. An email is sent/spoofed from an email which seems to come from your domain but actually is not but you get a shit load of replies to your default email account. Disable you default email acount of all email addresses which are not valid for your domain.

Most of mine are

/bin/sh: line 1: XXXXX Killed /usr/local/bin/php -q cron.php

I have deleted all,... waiting for the next cron job. I will take a few snapshots.

I recall this being due to the cron job being killed. What's being displayed as numbers is actually the process number of the cron job. For some reason, the cron jobs are being killed, which can occur on some web hosting environments if it is running for too long, or using too many resources.
