a history of what you have going on so to be understand where the problem could possibly be at.

where are you hosted?

is your RMS with your host?

do you get a message when trying to connect to RMS?

does your chat work if you untick the use RMS option?

If you have recently upgraded to 7.0.1, the RMS settings get reset. Make sure they you  have put them back after the upgrade.

I have Joombyte also, that just means that their RMS is up and running fine. That doesnt mean that you have the RMS settings in your Admin Panel. Have you checked that?

Use RMS = Should be checked

RMS Address, RMS Port, and RMS HTTP Port should also be filled in. If you are getting a "Unable to connect to RMS" when you check Use RMS, then something is wrong.

Either, you do not have the correct RMS Address and/or Ports OR your domain is not registered to that RMS Address (meaning you have D7 in a different directory then when you signed up.)
