A lot of errors

I'm find a lot of errors with Dolphin 6.1.4.

Can someone clarify which version of PHP I should be using?  Should it be PHP5 or 4?

What kind of errors are you getting? What do they say?

I have Dolphin up-and-running with PHP 5.2, MySQL 5 and Apache 2.2. Are you windows or linux?

I'm using the following

Apache 1.3.41 (Unix)

MySQL 5.0.51a-community

Operating System Linux

Now PHP version I am confused, I am with Lunarpages, they give you an option to install PHP5 which I have but it states on the side bar PHP 4.4.9

The errors I am getting are all to do with inputting special characters.
