Add Groups and Events

I'm using Firefox as my browser and unable to type in the description boxes in Add Groups and Add Events.  I understand this issue is specific to Firefox, does anyone have a resolution?

I don't know if it's specific to firefox or not. I use firefox, and have no problems with my groups or events.

I'm currently doing research on it now and it appears that it is a common problem with FireFox.  When I find a resolution, I will post it here.  Equally, if someone else finds a resolution first; please post it.

No problem with FireFox 3.0.10 and Latest Flash .....

I believe I've discovered the error:

In Firefox, When I click on Add Events, Add Groups or Add Classifieds what's happening is at the bottom of the page, on the left, a message keeps coming up:

Transferring data from mysite.com.....

Connecting to mysite.com.....

Waiting for mysite.com....

Given that I downloaded this version from Arvixe, through Fantastico, could there be a missing or corrupt file?

That would be a definate possibility  .....

I've just reinstalled IE8 and for some reason, I am now able to type in text boxes.  So; for me, this appears to be work around - running two browsers.  I'm not sure what I'm missing in the Firefox 3.5 version, but it's enough to stop me from typing in text boxes.

It might not be what your missing. It could be a addon or any number of things. For instance, there is a known issue with the google toolbar for firefox and some of the ray media features.

Try different browsers  .....  No browser is consistent across the entire installation  .....
Also be sure to clear your browser caches  .....

I suppose what I have been saying forever is still true then  .....

I'm having this problem, too. Bummer! When I think everything's a go, something else pops up! If I use 'html' it shows up but to type in the text box, it doesn't. I'm working in events. I'd like members to add events but not use html or two browsers to do it. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
