Add Javascript to new HTML Block

I want to be able to add a javascript to a new HTML block how do I do that, it's not letting me save the script when I modify it, or it strips out the code.

Ok I retract my statement - thanks but that only works apparently in 7.0.0 - back to square one - the html block input in .0.1 won't allow javascript without stripping code.
