Add a login box to a Splash page?

I got the login box on the splash page okay (so far) but it looks like something else is missing.  Please take a look at the image....

What am i missing? function?  script?  Undecided

CSS.

The splash page will need to load forms_adv.css, login_form.css and common.css at least.

And most likely the JS script that handles auth. That would be inc/js/login.js

it's def better but I still see the red warning signs.  I think verification for the login box is missing.  Do you know which one?

I believe it is still css.

You will also need to include general.css and icons.css

hmm i tried that.  They don't seem to go away.  If i hit the submit button without filling in the username or password box, it takes me to the member.php page with the boonex login box.  It's supposed to stop right there with a warning sign showing up.  The signs are already shown and i believe the login verification isn't working.  I don't know. Undecided

Sorry. I will need time.

I will have to duplicate it myself to determine whats needed.

no plm!!  I really appreciate it.  Laughing   I think i'm all set with css.  if i login with my username and password, it works well... but if i don't enter at all and just submit.. it doesn't do anything.. it jumps to member.php without loggin in.

Same with me.

Are you using a php or html splash page?

Functions from member.php may need to be copied to the spash.

The way the logon validate works is it does a ajax submit to member.php and for some reason it is not properly returning. I am trying to determine the reason.

Last time i did this on dolphin 7.0.9 i did not have a problem with this.

Ok i got it working. There are other JS files that have to be included.

I have attached a working splash.html

Replace all 14 occurrences of YOURSITE.COM with your sites domain and test it. It should work. This will provide a working example that contains all css and js that must be included.
