Add custom fields to classifieds

How do I go about adding custom fields to the classifieds section.

As I am using it to advertise parties. so it would be great if the user could select a date and time. also the location and who the party is open to.

This is what the "Events" feature of Dolphin is for... you will be better off advertising your parties that way than modifying code and addin mysql fields to the database.

I am using the events section to advertise something different and cant use it.
