Add field in the join form??

I've been trying to add "secondary email" field in join.php form while the new members tries to register in the form. I'm able to create the field but how do i change the field name that's appearing at the left as "Email" as I have copied the same code from ProfileFields.inc? And what other things that I need to do to post in the database? please help!!!
