Add recaptcha to join page?

Hi all,

         D7.2: Is it possible to add recaptcha to the Join page?

I am currently getting over run with spammers joining one of my sites.

If it is at all possible i'd appreciate some step by step clear and simple instructions as to how to go about it, as you already know, you are dealing with an idiot :(

Hi Ed,

1. Go to your admin panel's dashboard. Read and follow "Initiall Steps" - step 2.

2. Go to [admin panel -> builders -> profile fields], move Captcha field from Inactive section to a desired place in Active section.

Also concider using a more advanced version of recaptcha - noCAPTCHA recaptcha. :)
