Addind a 'No Preference' option to search fields

At the moment, my advanced search is not very user friendly as you have to make a choice in every field because you cannot choose a 'No Preference' option for say hair colour for example.

Has anyone overcome this problem?

Go to your Admin Panel > Settings > Predefined Lists

In the drop down, Choose whatever category you want to add this field to and simply add the entry of No Preference using the same format as the others.

You may also need to add the language key for 'No Preference' as well. You can add a language key in Admin Pane l> Settings > Language Settings
