 I really do not know how to go about it or how to start it at all i dont like dolphin comment box as it does not have space or visitors to add their name before commenting.
i would love to add facebook comment to my site and i need step by step on how to go about it. i mean STEP BY STEP please help me with this. i have the codes, but how to place it to make it work

Dear flirt2us, This really depends on if what you ask for is what you really want based on sky's response there are 2 streams of information possible. If you want to have the information posted on your site feed FB which is what I think you are asking it is not that difficult to add FB code to accomplish this task. Simply add an html block put the FB code in it and you are off and running after you save it. Hope you have deano's block tools. It is a great way to cross the streams of FB with your site. I have had to several times manually add the code to the database page compose area to get around script issues.............If your script gets cut simply add the code in the same place it got cut in the page compose area..........There is also a free mod I think by adminmysite that makes it stupid simple to add a like button link It's free and if you follow the same logic it does the same thing just follow the paths.............and use the other code in the same way..............Hope that helps If you want a FB like feed to be inner circle of flirt2us Sky is correct. what i am looking for is FACEBOOK COMMENT BOX. i understand that i can place facebook code in my page and visitors w ho want to comment as far as they are logon to facebook would automatically open the comment box for them to comment in the site. that will enable others to know the name of people who comment.
it only shows anonymous in dolphin and i if i have 4 anonymous it drives me crazy as i do not know who to attend to. and again instead of showing different thing, it shows my admin photo along with the name anonymous.
a comment box that allows members from facebook to comment directly in flirt2us as long as they are login to facebook. pls sky and sam, if this is exactly what you have described there, please let me know. thans I dont know it all, so sharing is always better. |

Step-2: Add a PHP box in your site using Deano's tool mod and then add the comments plugin code in it.

it works for me now. i have it on my site now. i only copy the first code to my website and then the second code to anywhere i want the space to show.
first it was hell cos of this block problem. i have to go into myphpadmin and then post the code there directly, clear the cache before i was able to work on it. i got the help from andrew and someone here too.
it works now. i need a splash page. someone might want to help with that. i really need a landing page for my site.
again i want to remove dolphin comment box and transfer the previous comment to the facebook. is this possible. i dont want to loose those comments members but having two comments space is really horrible for me. I dont know it all, so sharing is always better. |
now i have a problem. my facebook comment copies to every page. that is, one comment copy to every news page. is there anything i can do about that the facebook commented by members in the news is also showing in the blog which has no relationship
