When you post a site link, do not use the http or the www. The page does not know how to handle it.

I posted a tip on the page so my members were aware of it. There is another issue with the site page. It is designed to create a thumbnail of the site you are trying to add, it never works the first time. Sometimes, you will have to refresh the add site page several times for it to create the thumb.

Also, make sure the permissions on your server are correct for the site mod folders, especially the image folder.

It has to be a server permissions problem, probably some sort of security setting. Is this a site you've just installed? The site mod works, not that well, but it does work.

When I add a site, I include the http://www. etc and it works fine. Mine is a fresh install. Stuart

Ok, they must have fixed that between 7.01 and now. I just missed it. The original problem with the thumbs still exists though

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but that page in hosttools is only reporting on permissions for the base folders of the site required to get the site installed and open. It is not checking all the file & folder permissions required for all the different mods in a Dolphin script.

You need to go back and check ALL your folder & file permissions. A good list of the ones that need to be checked can be found in the installation text file.

Hey any developer can have a look in here ? :(

After some investigation seams that all modules that gives you possibility to "embed" something from external websites dosn`t work for example:

Photo embed - dosn`t work

Video embed - dosn`t work

Adding website - this is the external website thumbnail extraction - dosn`t work.

Anyone knows where can be the problem ?

Looks like the directory were those images are saved maybe is not writable.. but I don`t know were it saves them
