Adding a Group's Main Photo?

Completed a fresh install of D7.3.0 w/Moxiemanager, but I can no longer add a main photo to my groups Cry  How do I add a photo as my group's main photo?

click to edit the group - scroll down to where you upload images - there will be an option to select which image is primary image

I assume you mean a registered version of Dolphin because the 7.3.0 trial version doesn't have MoxieManager and photos have to be uploaded to the server first.

Thanks for the reply, but this does not work.

I guess you missed the "PREMIUM" next to my picture ;)  So, yes, I have a license, plus I installed MoxieManager when I installed D7.3.0.

So, do you you know why an uploaded photo cannot be assigned as a Group's main picture?

yeah - using the moxiemanager - my suggestion will not owrk. My suggestion is for using the default way of uploading images - which is not dependent on moxiemanager - so it doesnt matter if you have a license or not.

I think something is wrong with the D7.3.0 package I used to perform the fresh install.  The group picture would not work before moxiemanager was installed and its not working afterward.

are you adding the image in the textarea field - or uploading using the default photo upload option? I dont think images adding in a textarea can be chosen as a default image. I may be wrong as I do not add images in that fashion.

I am using the default Group Photo section.  Currently, I see a greyed out icon where the picture should be ;)

Are you able to add group photos via the add/edit group?  I'm not sure why moxiemanager came up, because it has nothing to do with your issue.  I upgraded a site from 7.2.1 to the latest version, and I have no problems with Groups photos.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

I was under the impression that the OP was adding an image in a textarea field with the Moxiemanager - and not the default way as I believe you are referring to HL.

I figured it out.  In D7.3.0, the following PHP setting must be set to = exif.

PHP:  php module: exif = exif

You're right...Moxiemanager has nothing to do with it.  It was the "php module: exif = exif" .  Everything works right now :)
