Adding a Menu item...?

Hello everyone... I’d like to add a menu item in the main menu, which will just link to our main website (not the Dolphin Social Network site). After I add the “New Item” in our main menu and fill the info, I reckon that there must be matching entries in the sys_localization_keys and sys_localization_language tables. Do I just add a new ID for the new item…? (say, ID 6195) I’m not really sure if I should be adding records in the tables, but if I do, are there other tables I should update besides sys_localization_keys and sys_localization_language? If so, is there is any standard for the ID Key number, or it is just a sequential number…? Any info or help on this greatly appreciated!

Menu items get added in navigation menu builder.  That is also where the language key is specified.  Then you add the text string for the language key that you specified, by adding the corresponding text string in language settings.

There is no reason to discuss database tables.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

Ah, language settings, got it... I had this nagging feeling that i shouldn't be dwelling into tables, right... Thank you!
