Adding "new" country, or "blank" country?

Hello all... When adding a Group, the user *must* select a country, yet I want to create groups by interest or expertise, regardless of location, so I'd like to have the option of leaving the country "blank"... Apparently that's not possible, so I wonder if I could add a "new" country, such as "cyberspace", "worldwide", etc...? In the Country list at "Predefined Values", I see that I can delete a country code, but I don't see an option to add a country code... I certainly could add a country code in a table in the database, but I'm wary to incur HoustonLively's wrath yet again :-P
