Adding user 1 brought my site down

I just tried to add my first user account to my site, and doing so broke the whole thing.

Now, going to the main page of the site results in a Warning: Division by zero in /home/big31com/public_html/templates/base/scripts/BxBaseIndex.php on line 410

Okay, post the entire error and not just part of it and we'll look at that next.  For now I'll answer question #2.

Go into Admin => Builders => Field Builders and simply remove the item on the Join Page that applies to couples/single and also anything else you want.  Feel free to create new items/questions and apply them to direct your site how you want.

Now I get to have a question:

How do you figure to use this softare for your THEME if you don't even know how to adjust the join form?

Well, I am working to learn it.  To an old pro (as you sound to be), stuff like this is like rolling off a log--as easy as it gets.  But to someone who is brand new to Dolphin (I use IPB for two of my sites and a hacked together Joomla/SMF install for another), it's pretty deep. 

This, of course, is both the appeal (lots of features and tweakable settings) and the limitation (lots can go wrong, and the "switch" is hiding in a deep dark corner of the engine room) of the platform. 

Good thing there is a deep community out there who is willing to help a n00b.  Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Note your -0, 0 variables.  Please post the snip of code for templates/base/scripts/BxBaseIndex.php for line 410  (This means the whole snippet that applies to the function that line 410 is in please.  I don't believe you should have -0, 0 as the limits on this.

Let us start w/the BxBaseIndex.php file located in the templates/base/scripts directory. I am guessing you are running Dolphin6.1.6.?!

If so, I would like you to find a D6.1.5 PatchZip and upload/overwrite the BxBaseIndex.php file from D6.1.6 w/the D6.1.5 file.

Also, search in the BxBaseIndex.php file forD6.1.6 (favScriptEditor) and try to find any -0,0 combinations in the context of the script.?!

Double check SQL syntax in your DB: I.e

This happened once on our servers way back. We don't exactly remember what really caused that but all we remember is that we got that fixed.

Try any of these solutions:

1) Check the PHP version that your host is providing .. is it PHP4 or PHP5.

2) Open the database and in the profiles table check what ID is the new user you created(that brings the site down) assigned.

3) Have you ever applied a mod that allows usernames not to be unique (like if 2 John's join your site through that mod both John's can have the same username that  is John).

4) Try replacing BxBaseIndex.php with the original Dolphin 6.1 (which ever version your using). Even if it is not modified .... still replace.

As we said we have experienced this before but it was atleast a year ago and we do not CLEARLY remember how we fixed it. But as far as we can remember it had either something to do with the PHP version or with the BxBaseIndex.php (so try 1 and 4).

All my Division by zero errors are usually admins putting too many checkboxes or something of that nature in the forms.
