Admin Hanging

When I go into the Admin Control Panel, I click on builders ---> Profile Fields and it just hangs. I cleared my cache fully logged out.. reboot... logged back in and still nothing.  ???

Hello check java script errors on builder's page

i went into the builders and don't see anything that has to do with java script errors. can you be a little more precise?

I also get about a 30 sec lag when going into the builders and it is the same on IE, FF, Safari

I'm not getting a lag... it's completely hanging and just will not open!

I've encountered this issue, as well. It seems to only happen on my Linux systems, though.

I am using a Linux based server. How do I fix it?

I'm on a Linux server and mine works fine. I've had screens hang once in a while but it's never anything that can't be fixed by clicking the link again or hitting the refresh button.

Ok, instead of YELLING ABOUT IT, let's see if we can resolve the issue. What browser are you using in your admin area?

Ive tried both ie and firefox. I mainly use firefox. Not big on microsoft anything.

Well, I went to mine and I still have zero issues opening .../administration/fields.php

. The only thing I could say is to make sure you aren't behind some weird firewall or maybe reuploading that page to make sure it's not corrupted somehow.... I'm at a loss but to me it sounds like a local issue.... Maybe someone with more smarts can jump in here.

How would you go about re-uploading the Admin Control Panel?

I suppose I should clarify that this is on a Linux desktop and not on a server. I have no issues on my Windows desktop. It seems to me that the Fields builder likes to load all the content for all the sections at once, which causes the web browser to get overwhelmed and freeze-up until it's finished loading.

I am getting this problem now. When i enter admininstration it takes up to 2 minutes to open, yet if i load any other page e.g

admininstrattion/menu_compose_admin.php

or any other php file for that matter in the admin it loads up straight away.

Cany anyone help
