Admin Members

Hi all, how do I make a member an admin in Dolphin? I've got the original admin account which I created upon installation but I need to have additional admin members also...

You have to do this directly in the database and you need md5 coded paswords

Ah ok, is their no plugin/extension to get round this? Would make sense to have an option for this in the admin panel...

For the time being though, I'm just testing this Dolphin platform, I am not sure whether I will continue with it yet, don't know if it suitable for what I need so I have registered a user and I want that particular registered user to be an admin, I need them to be able to access the front end and contribute as well as log in to the admin panel.

From looking at the database, I can see a table named 'Profiles' which displays the registered members, but there is no field in this table for me to change the members membership to admin.

I can see another table named 'Admins' and this lists logins to the admin panel, the current login to the admin panel was just the username and password I created on installation, they don't even show as an actual member on the site so therefore don't own a profile or can't access a lot of aspects at the front end.

Other than this, I am not able to see any other tables in the database which may contain what I am after. Please could you point me in the right direction?

On the site themselve thre is no admin as user.
The admin login is only for the admin centre, and you could make a another admin into the admin table..
But not as from the user profiles

Hmmm, that confirms how it appears, thanks for that. Not ideal for how I need it so may look at integrating this functionality myself if I find time. Thanks again :)
