Admin access

Tried to access my site today and got the following error, could someone point me in the right direction to fix it please? (the admin lets me access all other admin urls e.g. administration/index.php?cat=builders) just not the main admin

Mysql error: MySQL server has gone away

Called 'getAll' function with erroneous argument #0.

I have some sites that have the same error, but others not.

Affected files are: BxDolEmailTempate and BxDolAdminDashboard  only if you accessed admin sevtion.
