Admin can change photo album permission?

Hello,

At my site most of the friends are putting their Photo album, can be seen by public to view rather than friends or members.

As a site admin. Do i have a control over how their album is viewed, so i don't have to explain them individually on how they can set the album permission?

No, only owner of album can edit info and settings there.

Well, then need to use query like UPDATE `sys_albums` set `AllowAlbumView`='{level access}' WHERE `ID`={album id}

or UPDATE `sys_albums` set `AllowAlbumView`='{level access}' WHERE `Type`='bx_photos'

Something like this, but it is not so nice :-)

Oh come on, are you serious!

Did Boonex not thought about the end user issues, when this album was packaged?

There are other one time user option given to admin and things like photo order in album OR permission control by admin, are simply not there. I can understand that Boonex is too big for such a small things.

I hope Boonex improves on things like this.

There is no option to change slideshow or control slideshow, anyway..

I appreciate your hard work. I guess i am bit upset because i did not do enough research for other option, its not your fault.
