Admin menu has disappeared

Hi..  the left side admin menu on my admin panel has disappeared.   This is on the D7B6 site I have that was recently hacked.  I replaced all the infected files with the original download files, so it probably has something to do with that - but is there any way to get it back?   Everything else on the site seems to be normal.  The admin panel now just shows the "quick overview" block, and the boonex blog.    All the builder items, etc have disappeared.   Clearing the cache and moving admin menu items had no effect.   Anyone have any ideas on how I might get it back?

I hate this forum software.  Gash dog it... I just typed a response on this and hit post reply instead of submit... What the crookers is up with those buttons remaining there while we're already posting a reply Boonex?

Okay, to the topic.

The actual menu is placed via the php & html files.  However, it's items are controlled by the SQL DB, thus you need to check and see if you actually have the tables in there.

Next up, utilize Notepad++ with it's Tools - > Compare option (Thanks Dosdawg for pointing out to me where the compare option was in Notepad++) and compare your files that relate to the menu to those in a fresh, unzipped copy of D7B6

Sorry I can't dig on this harder, but it's crunch time for me for the next week.

That's ok - I think I am just going to transfer the backup files I do have to another d7b6 install I have on another domain and see if it works.   Will also try your techniques.

I can't tell you how many times I have hit the "post reply" button here and lost a post.  Very frustrating, and a major usability issue with this forum.

p.s.  By the way, until now there has been a beta every two weeks.  Anyone have any inside information on when the next one is coming out?
