Administration Panel issue

Hello,

I logged into my Admin Panel page tonight & noticed Rows & rows of links to the various admin settings. The icons & menu's are completely gone. It's extremely hard to find my way around now.

Does anyone know what could've caused this & how to fix it?

Thanks much..

One resolution to make admin panel readable again. Cpanel  where you can use system restore and restore to the last backup date and time.

On my cpanel I can restore my stie in the event of miss configuration of site setting or anything else to the prior day.

All you should need to do is restore administration in public_html for your site. good luck

and that would all depend on if the site owner has been backing up. there are other parameters of consideration, size that is allowed to backup by your hosting service.

rows and rows of links, sounds to me like a template issue, so whatever it was that you were doing, undo it.

That used to happen to me. Clearing the cache usually solved the problem. You'll need to do it via FTP or cpanel

Thank you!

I manually cleared my cache via FTP & it fixed the issue. You are correct about it being related to the template. I was messing with one of my templates when this occurred. I don't see how it's connected with the admin panel though. I guess I have a lot to learn..

Thanks again everyone!

well, you are correct, why in the hello, is the admin panel connected to cache at all, who knows. but when i read your issue, i knew it was the template. dolphin does some strange stuff. and just when you think you got it all figured out, she will whip her tail, and kablooey, away goes the site.

sky can attest.

Thank you!
