there are a few things that i have mentioned on here previously where i think we could all benefit if these were options from the administration panel: home path --> index.php or index.html for those who are running splash screens (this would cover the mainlogo path as well)- actions button administration --> admin should be able to easily managewhich buttons are included in the actions block number of profiles to show on members blockimage file size limit w x h video size limit feature based on membership level-number of emails from site sent and received number of PM's sent and received im sure there are other suggestions, not talking about adding features, but asking to give real administrative roles to the admin.every time we hack a file, and do an upgrade, we have to go back and hack that file again.do you think it possible to diff the files and if there is a diff to display that diff so that the site owner can determine if they wish to overwrite that file, or possibly _rename existing and overwrite with upgraded version, at least the option is there to later apply the files hacks.must add this, 7.0.3 --> 7.0.4 --> 7.0.5 upgrades run perfectly KUDOS, there could be some improvement such as chmods that are doing manually and the rm -rf upgrade and the rm -rf /upgrade/.htaccess, these things could surely be improved upon with a little more automation.one final inquiry can we get some sort of on/off indicator for RMS, and possibly some method of management from admin for restarting. its been long enough, this should have some advancement by this time? as i posted earlier, everyone needs attention from time to time, so i totally agree with HL
anyways, seems we have the kingdom to ourselves until it lasts (no moderators present)

It could be FF4. I just 'upgraded' today, and I've noticed some pretty bizzare things. I tried to attach a file earlier, and when I browsed for it, things went completely nuts. It was like I had a hundred copies of every file in my documents directory. My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
