Go into phpmyadmin, then open the "profiles" table and change the "Role" to 3 for anyone you want to be an admin.

where is phpmyadmin located? Is that in the admin area of the site or in the code on the server?

If you have to ask where phpmyadmin is located, you probably shouldn't be editing the database directly until you become a little more familiar with the server side of things.

There's a free module that will allow you to make any member an administrator from within the Dolphin admin area.  Download and install Deano's Tools.

Your hosting providers control panel. Usually cpanel.

My free Deanos tools module can do this as well. http://www.boonex.com/m/Deanos_Tools_V1_6_Dolphin_7_0_Version

But i am guessing since you have never been in phpMyAdmin, then you may not have installed a third party modules before either.

So i am not sure which route would be easier for you.

Ok, yes I'm new to this. and sometimes simple directions lead me in the wrond direction.

I found the phpmyadmin in my Cpanel. Opened it & found no place to click or choose "profiles". I hate to sound so stupid, but this has to be easier than this. please provide any input you may have.

I will download Deano's Mod and have it installed, but my host is extreamly busy and it may take alot longer to get done than I would like.

Thanks for your help.
