Does anyone knows of or have on their site a member search that offers you a sub-selection after a choice of country?

For example, if I were to choose say

United Kingdom - then a drop down would appear saying

England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland

Then if I chose England another drop down would appear and so on.

It works amazingly well, it will even do Dependent upon Dependent fields.

Thanks guys. Would you recommend the first version where you input the options yourself or the newer version where members can input their own?

The second option seems as though you would have to be very careful as some prat may just like to enter some words that may offend. I know you can admin it from the back but which version would you recommend out of the two?

I personally use the first version where I can control it totally, but you can use the 2nd and still maintain control by utilizing the Bad Word Filter which will make things obvious when someone uses foul language, of course it won't reprot it to Admin, but it can turn Shit into I enjoy licking squids as their location.  LOL

In the end, just go with the 1st one.  It works quite well

Does it come already populated with some locations or would I have to fill it out from scratch?

You need to fill it, it'll create a section called dependent values that you need to populate, not hard and doesn't take long.
