Is there a way to make sure no one under the age of 18 signs up?

1.  Set the DOB Check fields & Advanced Settings areas to prevent anyone from using a DOB that is under 18

2.  Require a verification that will show you the Persona, a form of ID and verification that the person is truly who they say they are.

Not to be harsh, but is this your first time to the internet?  People lie and there is no way to know for sure if someone is telling you the truth.  The only way to stop this is to require in-person interviews with the prospect, combined with 3 forms of government issued id, birth certificate, credit check, 3 professional and non-impeachable witnesses and a letter from their priest....all certified, stamped, signed, sealed and given to you directly from the issuing authority (can't trust any document handed to you by someone).

So no you cannot make sure nobody under the age of 18 signs up.

But take satisfaction in knowing that if someone does lie about their age to join, then they committed a fraud on you and you will likely not be held liable for anything they see in your site or are exposed.  Of course you have a duty to remove the little twits once you find out they are under 18.

Sure is a way but your not going to like it.... you will have to get in your car and personally visit everyone and get a copy of their birth certificates signed by their mums and the midwife and get their dental records to just to be safe.

ID,s are good but can be faked is a start though.
