 Does anyone know how to make it so that all members are automatically friends? Members who join my site are well aware that they will be sharing whatever they post with all other members. Just the time it takes to for sending friend requests out to every member and waiting for the response is a hassle. I know it might sound strange, but can anyone help? |

It's not a good idea because it's made overload on your web server Not only that, but would you want to automatically be friends with over a hundred (an example) people upon joining a site? It'd be overwhelming for most people, especially if they don't want to fill their friends list with unwanted people whom they don't know. Sasha E. Thank you for the advice on "over loading my server" I should be so lucky. Magnussoft, as I stated, I know it sounds strange. Given the nature of my site, yes I would be delighted to be friends with everyone upon joining. Secondly, the entire idea of my site is to be friends with everyone on the site, that's the whole point. There are currently about 150 members, they are rarely more than a few people on line at the same time. Overwhelming, no .... Profiles are already set to share all with other members, as well as photos, videos, etc. There is no "private settings" on the site. So why then do I need everyone to be everyone's friend? Because of the wall modules. To the members I have, it would be OVERWHELMING to have to send friend requests out to everyone and wait for the other friend to respond.
So I ask again, can anyone help? |
