Allowing non-members to comment in forum posts?

Hello... By default, only members are allowed to comment in forum posts... To encourage participation/engagement as we get our site on its feet, we'd like to allow non-members (the "public") to comment... (so they create "content" without having to go through the registration process) Is this possible...? If so, which setting is to be changed and where (I couldn't find anything related to Forum permissions in the usual setup pages...) Many thanks in advance for you help on this...!

I don't see how it would be possible in ORCA (or any other forum) since each forum topic started and post created is stored in the site's database... with each forum-related action associated with the member's ID.

The best you could do would be to create a new "no fuss" membership level with a super simple registration process... then allow them to post in the forum.
