Anyone willing to work together to come up with a way to ftp videos to D7 site, then run some kind of script to import them to D7?
The basic idea:
1) Make an ftp upload folder for videos
2) Make a script that recodes the videos to the three formats D7 uses. After encoding moved encoded files to sub folder, move original file to different sub folder.
3) Have a web page / script that lists videos from the encoded folder. This page would give you the options to set meta data, and insert in to the database. It would also rename the video files, and move them to the default video folder.
Thoughts? Ideas?
