Alternate splash page...

So, I'd like to have a splash page (or simple banner) that only shows up on the home page.  I realize Dolphin has the option to do this, and I've tried a thousand times using the HTML editor, but it doesn't seem to be working with my theme and I assume it has something to do with the column and page widths I've set.

For now I've just put the information I want in the logo, which I could change as I go, but that's annoying.

Is this possible within the Page Builder?  I can't figure a way to do it.

There is a few different ways to do it.  Is it possible to PM me with a link to the site ? so i can take a look.

My current membership level only allows me to message blah blah blah (silly rule if you ask me).

Dolphin comes with the ability to hide things from guest view.  So you can use your homepage as a splash page by just hiding things from guest view and have a block for guests that goes away when members log in.  No need for any special coding.

 It's not against the rules, it's just a bad idea.
